In this article I will show you how to permanently delete your Instagram profile.
If you want to take a break from Instagram you have an option to temporarily disable or permanently delete your Instagram profile.
It is important to notice that if you choose to permanently delete your Instagram profile, then there will be no way back. You will not be able to reactivate it later or register a new account with the same username. It means that you will need to create a brand new account if you change your mind in the future.
Follow these steps:
- Open up Instagram app on and login to your Instagram account.
- Tap on the menu icon at the upper right corner of your screen.
- Proceed to “Settings and privacy”.
- Now tap on “Accounts center”.
- Proceed to “Personal details”.
- Open up “Account ownership and control”.
- Tap on “Deactivation or deletion”.
- Select your profile.
- Now select “Delete account” and tap on “Continue” button. You will be asked to type in your password and after that your profile will be permanently deleted. That’s it.
