In this article I will show you how you can add a link to Instagram story without having 10000 followers.
As you know swipe up links can be used only by users who have over 10000 followers. But don’t worry, there is a workaround to swipe up links feature if you don’t yet have 10000 followers.
Just follow these steps:
- Open up Instagram app and login to your Instagram profile.
- Tap on the “Plus” icon at the top right corner.
- From this menu select “Story”.
- Now choose a picture from your gallery.
- Tap on “Stickers” icon at the top.
- Select “Mention” sticker.
- Now mention your own Instagram profile in this sticker.
- Now tap on the text icon at the top and ask people to click on your tag to check your offer. So, you can write something like “Check my bio for a special offer”. They will be brought up to your profile, and the link to your website will be present in your bio section. So, don’t forget to add a website link to your bio.
- Now publish your story. Done!
That’s a longer route to take and you will get less clicks on your link compared to using swipe up feature directly, however, it is better than nothing.
