In this article I will show you how to add alt text to Instagram post.
Alt text is a short version for alternative text, meaning that if your photo doesn’t load for any reason, then people will see your alternative text instead describing what this photo is about.
Follow these steps:
- Open Instagram app and login to your Instagram profile.
- Tap on the “Plus” icon at the top right corner.
- Select “Post” from this menu.
- Now select the photo which you would like to upload.
- Tap on “Next” at the top right corner.
- Tap on “Next” again.
- Scroll down and tap on “Advanced settings”.
- Scroll down and tap on “Write Alt text”.
- Now type in your alternative text.
- Tap on “Done” at the top right corner.
- Now simply proceed by uploading your post as usual.
