In this article I will show you how to appear offline on Instagram even though you are really online.
Did you know that other people may see whenever you are online on Instagram or not? Luckily, if you value your privacy and don’t want people to know whether you are online and when was the last time you were logged in, then you can easily disable this feature to hide your online status.
Follow these steps:
- Open Instagram app and login to your Instagram profile.
- Tap on the menu icon at the top right corner of your screen.
- Proceed to “Settings and privacy”.
- Scroll down and go to “Messages and story replies” section.
- Now tap on “Show activity status”.
- Switch the toggle off next to “Show your active status” and from now on people will not be able to see whether you are online and when was the last time you were logged in.
