Activity status shows your followers whether you are currently online on Instagram & when was the last time that you logged in to Instagram.
If you want to protect your privacy, then you should definitely disable activity status on Instagram so that nobody would know whether you are active on Instagram right now and when was the last time you logged in.
- Open up Instagram app on your phone.
- Tap on the menu icon at the top right corner of your screen.
- Proceed to “Settings and privacy”.
- Scroll down and tap on “Messages and story replies”.
- Now tap on “Show activity status”.
- Disable the switch next to “Show activity status”. That’s it.
