In this article I will show you how to disable comments on all of your Facebook posts.
Sometimes you may be receiving not the engagement you expected to receive on Facebook – like spammy or hateful comments.
If you don’t want to deal with this anymore, you can simply disable comments on all of your Facebook posts.
Just follow these steps:
- Open up Facebook app and login to your profile.
- Now tap on the “Menu” icon at the bottom right corner.
- Tap on the “Gear” icon at the top right.
- Now scroll down and tap on “Followers and public content”.
- Here next to “Public post comments” make it so that only friends could comment under your Facebook posts. That’s it.
As you can see Facebook doesn’t allow to fully disable comments, however, friends usually don’t spam on your Facebook posts and don’t write hateful comments, so this method should solve your problem.
