In this article I will show you how to disable share button on Facebook.
Don’t want other people to share your Facebook posts? Luckily, you can easily disable sharing feature for your posts.
Just follow these steps:
- Open Facebook app and login to your Facebook profile.
- Click on the menu icon at the bottom right corner.
- Tap on the “Gear” icon at the top right corner.
- Scroll down and click on “Profile and tagging”.
- Switch the toggle off next to “Allow others to share your posts to their story”. Now people will not be able to share your posts on their stories.
- Now proceed to your Facebook profile and click on the post on which you would like to disable share button.
- Click on the three dot icon at the top right corner and select “Edit privacy”.
- Choose “Friends” so that only your friends would be able to see this post. People that are not your friends will not see this post and will not be able to share it. Unfortunately, you cannot disable share button for your friends. That’s it!
