In this article I will show you how to hide hashtags on Instagram.
As you probably already know hashtags help your Instagram posts to be discovered, however, hashtags can also take a lot of space in your post caption and if you are adding many of them, it may even look spammy.
Luckily, there is a way to hide your added hashtags. This makes your caption more attractive and you still get all the search discoverability benefits of hashtags.
Just follow these steps:
- Open up Instagram app and login to your profile.
- Now tap on the “Plus” icon at the top right corner to add a new post.
- From this menu select “Post”.
- Select any image from your gallery and tap on “Next”.
- Now write a post caption.
- After you are done writing your caption, add five dots (one per line) in your caption.
- After that add your hashtags.
- Now simply publish your post. Done!
Now people will not see your added hashtags in your caption unless they click on “More” under the description.
