In this article I will show you how to remove age restriction on YouTube App.
If you cannot view a video because it is age restricted, there are a few solutions to fix this problem. I will show you how to edit your YouTube settings to remove any age restrictions.
Just follow these steps:
- Open up YouTube app and login to your profile.
- Click on your profile picture at the bottom right corner.
- Tap on the “Gear” icon at the top right corner.
- Proceed to “General” section.
- Now just switch the toggle off next to “Restricted mode”.
- If this doesn’t help and you still can’t view the age restricted video, then go back to YouTube app main page and click on your profile picture at the bottom right corner again.
- Tap on “Google account” below your username.
- Go to “Personal info” tab.
- Tap on “Birthday”.
- Now change your birthday date so that you would be over 18 years old (as you need to be over 18 years old to view age restricted content).
- Then tap on “Save” at the bottom right corner. That’s it, now you have fully removed age restriction on YouTube app.
